February 29, 2012 - Shots and Smiles

Brigham got his first set of vaccination shots today.  He was such a brave little boy and did so well.  He was a little fussy and when they put the needle in his eyes got really wide and he screamed like a champ!  But he calmed down right after, especially getting hugs and kisses from mommy.  I think it was harder for me than it was for him.  I hate to see him hurting or sad.  But with a little tylenol, his day was pretty much normal.  He got to hang out with dad while mom went shopping in the evening, and dad got some big smiles out of him while they played with his new ball!  I was so sad I missed it, but he smiles a little more every day!
